FEB 27
Lord, you have always shone your truth into our world, even when we are too afraid to see it. Unveil the hearts of those in your church, that we may boldly proclaim your good news to all who will receive it. Bless those who lead us and those who inspire us in ways of faithful witness to your glory. Receive our prayer, Lord;
You, O God, are the Holy One.
As the world faces conflict and division, we ask you to be with the leaders of the nations and all in authority. We ask for your peace to fill the hearts of those seeking personal gain, we ask your comfort to satisfy those who experience personal need; we ask your justice for those who are serving all your people. Receive our prayer, Lord;
You, O God, are the Holy One.
We pray for our community, asking you to remind us of the benefit of extending kindness. For our neighbours who grieve, for those who struggle, for those who live in fear and loneliness; may we be agents of your love, to bring joy to a hurting world. Receive our prayer, Lord;
You, O God, are the Holy One.
Help us to see the world with new eyes, inspiring us to be amazed at the wonders around us. May we take action to preserve and protect the beauty of our natural environment, keeping it safe for generations to come. Receive our prayer, Lord;
You, O God, are the Holy One.
Help us to care for those in any need of body, mind, or spirit, pausing to name those whom we carry in our hearts;
help us to be grateful for the people and systems that care for our loved ones.
Instill in us a desire to seek spiritual health and physical wholeness, that in all things we may give you glory. Receive our prayer, Lord;
You, O God, are the Holy One.
Help us to be grateful; waking every day with renewed energy to embrace the positive in our lives. As we celebrate the abundance of blessings in our lives, let us also be a blessing to someone, today and every day. Receive our prayer, Lord;
You, O God, are the Holy One.
We pray for ourselves, for your loving guidance as we head into our Annual Meeting. Fill our hearts with gladness, inspire our minds with opportunities, empower our whole selves
as we find ways to be faithful servants in this place and this time. As we celebrate all that was, all that is, and all that is to come, we ask you to receive our prayer, Lord;
You, O God, are the Holy One.
We bring you these prayers, loving God, asking that through them we may be changed, and see your glory in all we do. In your name we pray;
Amen.
